About Victoria Sisalema, APRN
I was born in Maracay, Venezuela. In 1994, completed Medical School at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). I spent the first year of my career working for native communities in Amazonas, an amazing place in Venezuela’s jungle, and after finished 2 years of internal medicine internship, I came back to the Universidad Central de Venezuela and completed a 3 year Dermatology residency in 2000.
I worked as dermatologist for 14 years at Hospital Estadal Los Samanes and my private practice in Maracay. I was fellow member of the Sociedad Venezolana de Dermatologia Medica (SVDM) and Colegio Ibero-Latinoamericano de Dermatología (CILAD)
I moved to the USA in 2014, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Universidad de Sagrado Corazon, San Juan PR, with a Bachelor's in Science Nursing in 2019. Continuing my education, In 2022 I graduated Summa Cum Laude and obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner at South University, Savannah GA, and received the national certification for Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
For the last 6 years, I worked for Mercy Hospital, Miami FL, as House Physician in the Surgical Department and later as a Registered Nurse in the same department.
